The term poverty is referred to a state of financial unstability i.e the inability to solve your financial problems. 


But i tell you this, poverty is more than just a condition. 

You could be poor in health, spirit and in mindset. 


There's a reason why people can easily differentiate a poor man and a rich man even though they are dressed alike. 


A rich man has a completely different mindset compared to that of a poor man. 

These mindset are the key reasons for their state of poverty.


These mindset are seen as 'normal' to most people, but are completely rejected by few.

The few people always end up being successful. 


Below are the depleting mindsets of the poor compared to that of the wealthy.


  • The act of blaming : a person with a poor mindset is never ready to take responsibility of his/her action. He always has a justification to the inability to carry out his duties. He's always blaming someone or something for his failure. This is a mindset for the poor. A person with a rich mindset always take responsibility for all his actions.
  • The act of borrowing : most people who are unable to perform an action due to lack of money always think of borrowing first before any other thing. Borrowing is never a solution. If you don't have the money, you make plans to raise it. It is highly advisable to save for emergencies, so that in cases of unforeseen turn of events, you'll be able to solve them without having to borrow. Rich people don't borrow, rather, they lend to poor people who in turn pays them with interest to make them richer.
  • The act of selfishness : there is a huge difference between lavishing and giving. Poor people lavish their money in unfruitful things rather than giving donations. Rich people understand the concept, "Givers never lack", they take it as a duty to give.
  • The act of over-sleeping : It is very rare to come across a rich man that sleeps too much. Though, evreyone loves the pleasure of sleep, but only few understand that there's more to life than just sleeping, and those few are the rich.
  • The love of money : this factor usually strikes up misunderstanding. It's concept is simple. poor people love money but rich people value it. Money is neutral, but the love of it is the root of evil, and the lack of money makes people to love money... You get it right?. Poor people love money because they lack it. You love what you desire but cannot possess. Simple.



These mindset are nothing but setbacks that you should let go to step up your game.
